Preparation
In a pan
Heat a pan with a touch of oil.
Place the GYOZA dumplings in a pan and fry on medium heat for 2-4 minutes.
When the bottoms of the dumplings have a light brown tint, add a little water to the pan, cover with a lid and simmer for another 3-4 minutes.

In a pot of water
Add enough water to a pot to fully immerse the gyoza and heat the water.
When the water boils, add the frozen GYOZA dumplings and cook on medium heat for 2-4 minutes.
When the dumplings are cooked, drain the water. Serve hot.

In a steamer
Add the required amount of water to the pot, preferably almost to the bottom of the steam pot.
When the water boils, place the frozen GYOZA dumplings in a steamer and cover with a lid.
Steam for 6-10 minutes.

In an oven
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
While the oven is heating, cover the dumplings with the desired sauce or egg whisk (no need to thaw the dumplings).
Bake for about 15 minutes. If you want the dumplings to be nicely toasted, you can use the oven fan function.
Serve GYOZA with your favourite sauce.

In a microwave
Place the frozen GYOZA dumplings in a container suitable for the microwave.
Add water to the bowl to completely immerse the dumplings.
Heat at standard 700 W heat for about 5-6 minutes. (alter cooking times depending on microwave)

On a BBQ
Heat the BBQ embers or turn on BBQ gas
Place the thawed GYOZA dumplings on the grill.
Grill for 6-8 minutes, (turning occasionally).

Deep fry
Turn on fryer or pour a sufficient amount of oil into a pan to prepare the dumplings.
Bring the oil to 160 °C.
Place the frozen GYOZA dumplings in to the fryer or pan with heated oil and deep-fry for 3-4 minutes.

In a dim sum steamer
Add the required amount of water to the pot, preferably close to the bottom of the dim sum steamer.
Put the frozen GYOZA dumplings in a dim sum steamer and cover with a lid.
When the water in the pot has boiled, place a dim sum steamer over the steam.
Steam for 7-8 minutes.
